Fraser River traffic 6 February 1986 - vessels moving downstream . Under the incomplete Annacis Bridge are 2 Seaspan chip barges’ being towed by the tug ?’Jervis Crown’ (if incorrect please ctc the author at this website) ; preceded by another barge towed by Crown Forest Industries’s tug Crown Forest https://www.nauticapedia.ca/dbase/Query/Shiplist4.php?&name=C.Z. 84-4&id=24735 The green coloured barges of wood chips moored to left along the shore of Annacis Island belong to RivTow Industries. In background is a barge with a crane, the 2 vertical columns on its’ near side may be pushed into the river or sea bottom to secure the barge in situ to do whatever work must be done by the crane; then raised and towed to the next work site. http://shipbuildinghistory.com/canadayards/rivtow.htm
